All Hail King James Or… Take That, Kobe!

LeBron James

See good guys do finish first… sometimes.  LeBron James (aka King James) was named the NBA’s 2009 regular season MVP, beating out Kobe Bryant (aka Dick Dastardly) in a landslide. To celebrate, Nike unveiled a commemorative Nike “Witness MVP” t-shirt and Zoom LeBron VI .

The Nike Witness t-shirt (seen below) is available beginning yesterday (May 5) for a suggested retail price of $30. The Zoom LeBron VI MVP edition (seen below) will hit retail beginning May 30, for a suggested price of $150. In addition to the special product, Nike also updated the Nike LeBron James Witness Billboard near Clevelad’s Quicken Loans Arena with a laser show displaying “MVP” on the sign. Fans attending last night’s game were also given a special “Witness MVP” sign held during the game. The shoe was available at NikeTown yesterday but is already sold out.  It will be available at other stores randomly over the next coming months.

Not my favorite kicks in the world but… they are better than previous Zoom LeBrons.
